The simplest peanut butter cookie recipe:
    1c peanut butter
    1c sugar
    1 extra large egg

Stir all together and bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. These tend to be a little crumbly. You can also form them into balls and cook them that way.

Quick, easy and fun to make with the kids.

My wife makes very good cookies – She showed me how to cook these, and they are great.
    Iced Chocolate Cookie
    Pre heat oven to 350
    Dry Ingredients:
2c flour, 1tsp baking soda, 1/2c cocoa powder, 1/2tsp salt (sometimes she adds chocolate chips) mix these together in one bowl
    Wet Ingredients:
1c white sugar, 1/2c brown sugar, 3/4c butter – mix these together in a new bowl, then mix 2 eggs into the sugar/butter. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mix it up.

Roll each cookie into a ‘dough ball’ and into powdered sugar before putting on the baking pan it makes a great icing. After that just bake each batch for 11mins, and they are sooo good.

Definitely go with the cake mix cookies. The cake mix ensures that your cookies will be plenty moist and chewy. Use the link from the answer above- or do a search for cake mix cookies. I swear by them! The Cake Mix Doctor is a cookbook with lots of cookie recipes. She has a website that has a few recipes and she rotates them. She might have a cookie recipe on the website.
