Recipe: Cinnamon Butter Cookies
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
TOPPING:
3 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
Combine flour, baking soda and
salt and set aside. Cream butter;
add brown sugar and 1/2 cup
granulated sugar. Blend well. Add
eggs and vanilla and mix until
fluffy. Add dry ingredients and
mix on low speed just until
combined. Form dough into 1-inch
balls. Combine 3 tbsp granulated
sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.
Roll balls of dough in
cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place 2
inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake 18 - 20 minutes at 300 F.
