Question by swirling_about: which holiday cookies should i make?
wanting to make cookies as a christmas present this year for family and friends, because its cheep :) which ones should i make?
so far i have chocolate chip, ginger bread, mint chocolate chip, sugar, any other ideas?

    Shortbread is the cheapest one I can think of, if you buy the butter in bulk at Costco or Sam’s Club.

    Snickerdoodles are my favorite cookies for the holidays. I also love Scottish Shortbread which make for a great gift. And finally I love to make German gingerbread cookies called Lebkuchen. You can make great shapes if you have cutouts (or artistic talent). I have included the links for the recipes below. They are all easy to make and will fill your home with wonderful aromas and holiday cheer.
