I’m about to make chocolate chip cookies! Do I roll them or roll them THEN flatten them before baking. Also, please don’t tell me to do what the recipe says because it doesn’t say so

When baking any type of cookies, the most common way to cook them is roll them into a ball.
They flatten as they cook.

  1. namaan says:

Normally a clump would be fine

  2. Nikki P says:

scoop and drop onto the cookie sheet.
You can use a spoon, a measuring spoon or if you want giant cookies use a 1/4 cup measuring cup and place just 6 to a cookie sheet.

  3. Chef says:

chocolate chip cookies are DROP COOKIES … which mean you get a spoonful and drop it on the baking sheet. NO need to roll them or flatten them. They spread out on their own due to the fat in them.
