What’s your best sugar-free cookie recipe?

Question by shitty: What’s your best sugar-free cookie recipe?
I want to make cookies for a diabetic friend.
The recipe needs to contain no sugar at all.
I’ve been to Splenda’s website, and they offer a few completely sugar-free recipes, but only a couple that sound appealing (Deep Chocolate Shortbread, for example). What’s your favorite sugar-free cookie recipe — cookies that taste real and a recipe that’s reliable?

Thanks for sharing!

Does anyone have a recipe for good wheat-free, sugar-free cookies?

Question by Jessica: Does anyone have a recipe for good wheat-free, sugar-free cookies?
I made a bet with someone that I can make sugar-free cookies that actually taste good.

And they also need to be wheat-free because one of the people that will be eating them can’t have wheat.

Does anyone have any really good recipes?

*Thanks!*
And I don’t want to use sugar-substitutes.

CHOCOLATE FUDGE WALNUT COOKIES
No Added Fat, Sugar-Free, Wheat-Free

Utensils needed: One bowl, spoon, measuring cups, cookie sheet, mini food processor.

Preheat Oven 375° F

* 1/3 level cup fat-free sour cream

* 1-1/4 cups brown rice flour (Bob’s Red Mill)

* 1 cup honey

* 1-1/4 cups spelt flour

* 1 large egg

* 3/4 cup uncooked Quaker quick oats
(or generic)

* 2 teaspoons real vanilla extract

* 1/2 teaspoon salt

* (mix well with spoon)

* 1-1/4 teaspoons baking soda

* 1 square (1 ounce) unsweetened

* (mix well)

chocolate (Baker’s) ground

* 1 cup chopped walnuts

fairly fine

* (mix)

* 1/3 cup baking cocoa (Hershey’s)

Directions: Follow recipe in order given and mix when directed. Let dough set in bowl for 15 minutes. This will make a better cookie when baked. Do not re-mix dough.

Spray cookie sheet with Pam spray or generic equivalent. Drop batter by large spoonfuls in a ball-like shape onto the cookie sheet. Space about 2 inches apart. Batter will make 32 cookies or more. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to cool. Store in airtight container. Cookies freeze well and can be eaten frozen.

Note: While fat-free sour cream is used in this recipe, low fat, reduced fat or regular sour cream may also be used. I use Breakstone’s or Daisy brands because of their limited use of additives.
Note: You absolutely cannot tell that these cookies contain oats.

Note: If you use another brand of brown rice flour, be certain it does not have a sand-like texture.

Note: For dairy-free, use soy “Tofutti sour cream”, or a rice sour cream.

Are sugar-free cookies and snacks okay to eat during the induction phase of the Atkins diet?

Question by crush: Are sugar-free cookies and snacks okay to eat during the induction phase of the Atkins diet?
I have been on the Atkins diet for 4 days now and I wanted to know if I can eat sugar-free snacks (ice cream, cookies, candy, etc.) during the induction phase.

If I do eat that, would it slow my results or change my results?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Recipe: Low-carb, sugar-free, gluten-free almond cookies

This is a recipe for almond cookies that are low-carb, sugar-free and gluten-free. Before you begin, pre-heat your oven to 300F. You’ll need: – 2 cups almond flour (ie ground almonds) – 1/2 cup Splenda (or equivalent liquid Splenda) – 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter – 1/2 tsp salt (omit if you used salted butter) – 1 tsp pure vanilla extract – 1 tsp pure almond extract Combine all ingredients. Form dough into walnut-sized balls and place onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 5 minutes. Press down lightly with fork. (Optional: You may also place an almond in the middle of the cookie.) Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy! 30 carbs for entire batch – less if you use liquid Splenda (ie Sweetzfree). You can buy Sweetzfree here: www.sweetzfree.com Original recipe credit www.lowcarbluxury.com (very slow server) I messed up the ending a bit, but this took so long to do that I’ll just chalk it up to experience and make sure the next video’s ending isn’t chopped off!
