anyone know where i can find a recipe for homemade dog cookies?

Question by Stacy S: anyone know where i can find a recipe for homemade dog cookies?
I would like to make my saint bernard mix some of those holiday dog cookies (the ones with that frosting on them) because they are expensive in the pet shops (i think around here they sell them for like $ 1 a dog cookie) and i’d like to put some in his stocking.

Crescent rolls.

Buy the packaged crescent roll dough (about 4 canisters)

Lay the dough out and put a heaping tablespoon of apricot jelly at the thick end (you can also use any type of jelly you like)

roll the dough up as directed

egg wash them lightly and bake

When they come out dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
