Question by : What does “It is Better to have a hen tomorrow than an egg today” means?
I went to a Restaurant with a friend and the lady gave us a Chinese fortune cookie mine said “It is Better to have a hen tomorrow than an egg today” And I don’t know what it means, can anyone pls tell me.

It means save for your future. If you wait for the egg to hatch you will (may) have a hen that will give you more eggs.
