I don’t know if this is too late. Sorry if it is.

Kourambiedes are well known Greek cookies traditionally made during the Christmas and New Year holidays. They are oval shape and flat on the bottom and have a crunchy crumbly, butter, nutty, consistency and completely covered in powder sugar. As with most Greek food and pastries, they are time consuming to make but are delicious.

And another:

There is a similar cookie called “Melamakarouna” which is similar in texture although a bit more moist as it is soaked in honey and sprinkled with crushed walnuts instead of powder sugar.

Both cookies are served in small corrugated paper trays like the ones Reeses Peanut Butter cups are in.

Hope this is adequate and sorry if I didn’t respond in time.
