Recipe for German cookies with vanilla yogurt?

Question by Jaidyn Micah: Recipe for German cookies with vanilla yogurt?
A few years ago, a friend of mine made German cookies for her German class that had vanilla yogurt in them–enough for me to taste that they were…eh…yogurt-y. Now I can’t find a recipe that sounds like it anywhere. Any help?

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Cream butter, gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Chill for ease in handling. Roll out dough to 1/8″ thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut with floured cookie cutters into desired shapes.

Bake on a cookie sheet in preheated 350°F oven 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

    * Whip-Up German Chocolate Cookies

1 (18.25 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
    1 cup vanilla yogurt
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1 egg
1 (16 ounce) container coconut pecan frosting
    1/2 cup flaked coconut
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
Empty the package of cake mix into a large bowl. Combine the yogurt, sour cream and egg; stir into the cake mix until well blended. Mix in the coconut pecan frosting, coconut and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely

    Enjoy :-)
