Q&A: What could I substitute for sugar when baking cookies?

Question by Hank: What could I substitute for sugar when baking cookies?
I’m trying to make a healthy chocolate chip cookie and I want to replace the sugar with something healthier. I’m using applesauce for my butter, and someone told me I could cut the sugar by one third and be fine. I really enjoy baking but I also don;t want to get fat.

You can use splenda, yogurt, cream cheese or honey.

applesauce already is sweet, so if you put a bit less sugar it should still be ok.
i dont know about in brownies, but in other recipes you can use honey as an alternative.

Splenda,it’s a healthy version of sugar.

Oh sorry I just saw you said you don’t wanna use spenda.
Why not cut down the amount of sugar you use?
