Q&A: A good “Mexican Wedding Cake” recipe?

Question by Stephunkanie: A good “Mexican Wedding Cake” recipe?
I just had some homemade “Mexican Wedding Cake” cookies and they were delicious. I want to try making them. There are lots of different recipes online but can someone help me out by posting a good recipe and maybe some tips? Thanks!

MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES

1 c. butter
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
Powdered sugar

Mix all ingredients except powdered sugar. Shape into balls. Bake at 300 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 30 minutes. While still warm, cover completely with powdered sugar.
