Flatten each cookie with the tines of a fork; dip fork in flour periodically to keep it from sticking to the peanut butter cookie dough.

YES!! This is THE simplest peanut butter cookie recipe, and it actually tastes like peanut butter, unlike those you get in fast food joints, etc. I’ve been using it since 7th grade home-ec.

    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. peanut butter

(double or triple recipe according to how much you want to make)

Mix all three, roll into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls, mash cross-wise with fork, a la peanut butter cookie style, and bake at 375 for around 10 minutes or until turning firm. It’s hard for me to be accurate on time, since many ovens are different.

    They are the BEST!
