    Thanks for your question. Confectioner’s sugar is preferred for this recipe. You could try using a super fine cane sugar, however its texture won’t be as smooth and light as the confectioner’s sugar.

    Thank you for your question. It’s best to use confectioners’ sugar. Regular sugar wouldn’t properly incorporate with the icing and the icing is likely to remain grainy.

    The texture of this icing is much more stable than a royal icing which is generally more light and fluffy.
