i want to make irish soda bread so much but i don’t have buttermilk and cant go out to get it. are there any recipes that i can use to make the soda bread with, WITHOUT butter milk?
p.s i want to use raisons in the recipe.

You can do the recipe WITHOUT buttermilk, then sprinkle some raisins on it.

    You can definitely make that recipe. Don’t leave out the buttermilk – just make your own sour milk by taking regular milk and adding about a tablespoonful of lemon or lime juice (can even be the lemon juice concentrate). I do that all the time in place of the buttermilk.
