I want to make these types of cookies, the frosting, the shape. All of that.
Also, how could I make sure they stay fresh if I’m shipping them across the country?
Thank you!

They are simple sugar cookies it looks like.

If you want a very firm icing you can use a “Royal Icing”.
3 large egg whites
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 (16 ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted
paste food coloring

Directions
1 Combine egg whites and cream of tartar in a large mixing bowl.
2 Beat at medium speed on mixer until frothy.
3 Add half of powdered sugar, mixing well.
4 Add remaining sugar and beat 5-7 minutes at high speed, until mixture is stiff and holds a peak.
5 Color with desired amount of paste food coloring.
6 NOTE: Icing dries very quickly; keep icing covered with a damp cloth when not using.

You can use bottles from the paint section in a craft store to get a fine tip and decorate with them…

Other option… used canned white frosting…tint you as desire.

Frost base of cookies. Thin the frosting in the microwave until the thickness you want…decorate with them.

Either way, leave the cookies sit out overnight to fully dry.

Be sure to layer waxed paper between cookies to ship them. Seal them in airtight baggies and pack well with popped popcorn as cushioning.
