Should stay the same if you are useing one cooking sheet Here is a recipe for 84 cookies
Ultimate Double Chocolate Cookies ——————————————————————————–

PREP TIME 25 Min
COOK TIME 10 Min
READY IN 1 Hr 40 Min
Original recipe yield 3 1/2 dozen

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
2 pounds semisweet chocolate, chopped
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1-1/4 cups unsalted butter
3 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
8 eggs
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
:

DIRECTIONS
This recipe’s Ingredients were scaled to yield a new amount. The directions below still refer to the original recipe yield of 3 1/2 dozen.
Melt chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream butter with white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in coffee crystals and vanilla until well blended. Stir in melted chocolate. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the dry ingredients just until everything comes together. Cover, and let stand for 35 minutes so the chocolate can set up.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Roll dough into walnut sized balls, or drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets, leaving 2 inches between cookies.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will be set, but the centers will still be very soft because of the chocolate. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

  1. bird says:

If it’s a 13 x9′ cake I bake them 25 minutes like the recipe says & then check for doneness ( stick a toothpick in the middle) if it comes out with batter on it ,bake it another 5 minutes.

Well I would start by cooking it for the recommended time. But since it is doubled, it could change the consistency of the bar because it will be much thicker. So start checking it the time the recipe says and then check every 3 or 4 minutes until it is done. Or you can double the recipe but cook in two different pans then you are assured to cook it for the right amount of time.
