Heat oven to 375°F. Combine brown sugar, butter and peanut butter in large bowl. Beat on medium speed until well mixed. Add egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat until well mixed.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten balls in criss-cross pattern with fork dipped in sugar. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

here is a very simple easy peanut butter cookie recipe, you will need 1 large egg, 1 cup peanut butter you favorite brand or style, 1 cup sugar, crack egg, mix into sugar, fold in peanut butter, spoon onto UNGREASED cookie sheet, bake @ 350 degrees for 5-7 mins, remove fron oven, cookies will be soft but will firm as they cool, makes about 2 doz . That’s it, all you will need is a glass of milk, & good movie, enjoy.

    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup butter
Mix these two ingredients in mixer until smooth

Add 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar and mix in

Add 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1tsp cocoa, 2tbsp. milk

    Mix thoroughly

    Dry ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour ( I use whole wheat, but some people don’t like the flavor, try white first then you can experiment)

    1 tsp baking soda

    1/4 tsp salt

    1 tsp baking powder

    1/2 cup of whole oats

    1/2 cup of peanuts

Add these ingredients to your mixture. If it’s a little dry you can add just a little coffee (yes, coffee) or milk.

Drop spoonfuls on to cookie sheet that has been prepared for baking.

Bake at 375 for 12 minutes.

Before you take them off the cookie sheet press a flat fork across the top like this #. It makes them look more inviting.

    I hope you like them.
