Yes, you can replace the sour cream with the yogurt. Use the baking powder and baking soda as called for.

You can usually substitute plain yogurt (regular or Greek style) for sour cream in most recipes. However, flavored yogurts are usually looser in texture than plain yogurt. If you have the fruit on the bottom style of yogurt, then it will probably work. If you are using Yoplait or another mixed yogurt that has more of a pudding consistency, then your dough may be a little bit soft and you might want to add a little more flour to get your dough to the proper consistency. Use the baking powder and soda and other ingredients according to recipe directions.

Another option to add strawberry taste to your cookie dough would be to use strawberry Qwik powder or even strawberry milk instead of regular milk if your recipe uses milk.

It will rise, but I’d worry about the amount of sugar in the yoghurt making them too sweet. Is it Greek or one of those low cal ones loaded with artificial sweetener?
