I love those things. I buy them whenever I see one at the thrift store. It’s probably the one with the pink/copper parts on the ends and the aluminum tube in the middle. You need a spritz cookie recipe for it. Here’s a link to different cookie press recipes: http://www.recipegoldmine.com/cookpress/cookpress.html The way that the press works is that you attach the end with the handle to one end of the metal tube. Then turn the handle until it’s as far up as it will go. Pack the cookie dough into the metal tube. Fit one of the plates into the metal cap…usually it has three prongs and you line the plate up, set it into the cap and then turn so that it doesn’t fall over when the cap is turned over. Attach the end to the tube and then you’re ready to make cookies. Just hold the press above the baking sheet or resting on it’s little metal feet against the sheet-depending on which model you have–and turn the handle until cookie comes out. The first couple of cookies that you make, you’ll want to look at how much has come out before you lift up the press. After a few cookies, you’ll have a feel for how much you need to turn the handle for each cookie.

    Have fun!
