Are sugar free cookies and sugar free candies bad for your health?

Question by Lina: Are sugar free cookies and sugar free candies bad for your health?
My dentist told me that sugar free candies and sugar free cookies are ok for your teeth, but whenever I buy sugar free candy, I sometimes notice a sign that says “eat in moderation”. Why does it say that? Is sugar free candy worse for your health than sugared candy is?
